My classic dinner is a source of protein + vegetables. But on nights when I don't have time to be too creative, I resort back to a classic chicken and whatever veggies are in my fridge.
.

The Trader Joe’s Italian Bomba Hot Pepper Sauce is perfect for nights like this because I can just toss it on literally anything for an extra kick of spice.
This is also the perfect end of the week meal when you want to get rid of any veggies you have leftover. Just sauté them a bit and add on this sauce, or any hot sauce you have.
the dEATS:
Servings: 1
Ingredients:
piece of chicken thigh
asparagus and carrots (any vegetables you have!)
TJ Italian Bomba Hot Pepper Sauce (any other hot sauce)
fat free crumbled Feta
The Magic:
VEGGIES
cut asparagus and slice carrots
steam asparagus and carrot with a little bit of water for a few minutes until veggies are tender and water is evaporated
add a few drops of olive oil and season with salt, pepper and lime
CHICKEN
after washing and cutting your piece of chicken, season both sides with salt and pepper
grill in cast iron skillet for 4-5 mins each side till visibly cooked
brush lightly with hot sauce (I usedTJ Italian Bomba hot pepper sauce on each side —be careful it is spicy🔥)
cook for another minute on each side
top with feta or any cheese you prefer
Enjoy and stay smiling (:
