“Everything But The Bagel” Salmon with Strawberry Spinach Salad ⁣(GF)

My weekday night dinners are relatively simple and quick just because of everything else I have going on through the day. But this doesn't mean they can't be flavorful!


I incorporate salmon into my meals at least twice a week because it is such a great source of lean protein, packed with Omega3 Fatty Acids, and B Vitamins (which I know now because of my BIOCHEM course, are SO important for our bodies to function).










I have probably tried every combination of salmon and veggies out there, but I can surely say that this is one of my absolute favorites. Being a Trader Joe's fanatic, the Everything But the Bagel Seasoning is a pantry staple in my house and we put it on literally everything. So I decided to give it a try on some salmon...


And this strawberry spinach salad has always been one of my absolute favorites!


All together, this entire meal can be ready in under 20 minutes which makes it perfect for a weeknight. Hope you try it out and enjoy(:


 

the dEATS:

Servings: 1

Ingredients

SALMON

  • Wild Alaskan Salmon (this is my favorite, but any salmon works!)

  • Honey

  • Trader Joes “Everything But The Bagel Seasoning

  • lemon

SALAD

  • strawberries

  • spinach

  • crumbled feta

  • crushed walnuts

  • balsamic vinaigrette (TJ Balsamic Vinegar of Modena is my favorite)


The Magic:


SALMON:⁣

  1. Glaze your salmon with some honey⁣

  2. Add some Trader Joes “Everything But The Bagel Seasoning” on top ⁣

  3. Pan fry for about 3-4 minutes each side⁣

  4. Top with a slice of lemon⁣

  5. Bake for about 8 minutes@400degrees F ⁣

STRAWBERRY SPINACH SALAD:⁣

  1. Slice up some strawberries

  2. Toss strawberries with baby spinach⁣

  3. Add in some crumbled feta and crushed walnuts⁣

  4. Top with lemon juice + balsamic vinaigrette ⁣

Place salmon on top of your salad and enjoy(:
